Bologna, una mostra per celebrare Guglielmo Marconi, pioniere del wireless
Il 10 dicembre 1909 ricevette a Stoccolma il Premio Nobel per la Fisica. Il 10 dicembre 2009 – esattamente cento anni dopo – s’inaugura a Palazzo d’Accursio, in Piazza Maggiore a Bologna, la mostra «Guglielmo Marconi Premio Nobel 1909-2009», che ricorda l’inventore bolognese e la formidabile impresa che lo portò a meritare quel premio. Obiettivo della mostra è restituire alla figura dell’inventore quella “nobiltà” che proprio il Premio Nobel – vinto a soli 35 anni – gli attribuì nel 1909. Tanto ammirato e osannato in vita quanto dimenticato o comunque trascurato nella seconda parte del Novecento, Marconi – ritornato alla pubblica attenzione a partire dal 1995 (centenario dei primi esperimenti di radiotelegrafia) – sta infatti risalendo i gradini della notorietà con la sola forza della sua invenzione: il wireless, vale a dire la modalità tecnica che maggiormente connota, in tutto il mondo, l’inizio del Terzo Millennio.

Ingresso: libero.Visite guidate: su prenotazione (051 6356611); il 26 dicembre e il 6 gennaio, alle ore 16, visita e attività ludico-didattica riservata ai bambini.
La Postazione Marconi Nobel di Salaborsa (Piazza Nettuno, 3 – Bologna) è accessibile negli orari di apertura della biblioteca.
